Tried This Viral Big Brush and My Makeup Blended So Easily

Honestly, I didn't think a simple brush could excite me so much. But here I am, discussing a single tool that has totally changed the way my makeup products sit and merge into my skin. And just like most random online purchases, it started with me scrolling, watching videos, and thinking: "Wow, that actually looks quite handy."

Everyone was using that giant brush to blend body makeup in no time, and the result was so flawless that it looked almost unreal.

Many times, I kept convincing myself that I didn't need it. But at last, my curiosity won the battle. I only bought The Big Brush to find out if it really deserved all the hype.

The “Should I Even Buy This?”  Moment

Actually, I was not in the market for new tools at all. I already had the basic brushes and sponges and considered them enough. Anyway, I always found applying body makeup a bit of a challenge, especially figuring out how to make it even, smooth, and not streaky.

However, when I saw countless posts featuring this big brush, I started to think there might be a simpler solution. Something faster, less messy. And that was the reason for me finally giving it a shot. Actually, I didn't have any high hopes.

I figured that it would either be too enormous to handle or just get forgotten after the first use. However, I was clearly wrong.

When I First Held Big Brush, I Understood the Hype

Right after I got the package, the first thing I thought was: Wow, this is really big. It is definitely bigger than any brush I have ever used, so initially, it felt somewhat strange in my hand.

At first, I even worried whether I would be able to control it properly! What I felt next time I reached the bristles, changed my mind quite drastically. Those bristles are stunningly soft. Not harsh, nor stiff instead very pleasantly smooth and dense which makes you feel at once that they are meant for blending results.

The brush at no point appears cheap. Its quality and construction are reassuringly high. The handle is designed such that it doesn't slip out of your grip easily which is particularly important when you're using it on large skin surfaces such as arms or legs.

First Blend on Skin and I Was Shocked

This was THE point where I tested it. Like I usually do, I simply put my body makeup down in thin layers on my arms and legs. Then I took this brush in my hands.

And honestly, it instantly melded everything together.

None of those harsh lines; not a spot that hasn't been covered. Just a smooth and uniform skin tone that was still giving off a natural vibe. I didn't have to keep going over the same spot again and again like I usually do with a sponge.

The ease of it was the biggest difference though! It felt like it didn't require any extra effort from you. Also, unlike some brushes that drag the product or cause the patchy appearance, this one only spread the product evenly very gently while you stay completely in control.

It was really like the product became part of my skin, rather than it laying on top of it. That was the precise moment when I figured out this brush is not a viral trend on the internet, it truly works!

Why It Makes Getting Ready So Much Easier

I also realized how much it can streamline the whole process.

Because it's so large, you could easily polish off an entire arm, leg, or shoulder with just a few swipes. What normally takes me several minutes was suddenly done in almost half the time. And the best part? It never even seems like you are rushing or struggling to get it right. The blending results come through effortlessly.

Plus, it reduces the risk of reapplying issues that come with smaller tools where it's easy to lose coverage. Therefore, instead of fighting with your makeup products all the time, you're just gently and smoothly spreading them out.

The Finish Actually Looks Better Than Expected

The really shocking thing is the finish it delivers. I thought it would simply provide faster blending only, but it actually also enhances skin appearance. It results in a soft and even-looking skin texture, almost like airbrushed one. The skin does not appear cakey nor loaded, but it is evenly toned and very natural.

It doesn't generate streaks, something I previously experienced when doing body makeup with hands or sponges. Everything is effortless looking and well done, without too much trying.

On top of all that, no excessive product absorption into the brush, so less waste while blending.

Small Things I Noticed Over Time

I found these little improvements after a few uses:

  • Its performance is very satisfactory on arms, legs, and shoulders
  • The brush still feels very soft even after multiple uses
  • Cleaning it turns out to be quite easy
  • It’s surprisingly easy to clean
  • It makes quick touch-ups really simple

Those small moments were the reasons that I kept using it instead of returning to my old brushes.

Is It Worth the Hype?

Honestly, after having used The Big Brush several times, I can confidently say that it does quite well live up to all the hype, for me personally at least.

It is not a "game-changing must-have" type of thing but, nevertheless, it makes the application of body makeup much easier, quicker, and smoother.

Even if you are into seamless makeup looks and love finding something that helps you get ready without losing that lovely finish, this brush is totally worth trying. Interestingly, it transformed what is usually a rather lengthy and tedious step into something quite rapid and straightforward without my prior expectations.
